JUST FOR LAUGHS
JACKIE USING FAULANTA AS HER PILLOW DURING NAP TIME!
It has finally warmed up a little here in Canada and I was wearing a short sleeve shirt the other day. Harriet came up to and grabbed my upper arm. She then looks at me and says, "Auntie Jenny, your arm is the same as my thigh." I told her to "Go away!"

Have I mentioned that Bridget has become my shadow? Maybe you have noticed that she is in so many of the photos on my blog. She is almost always by my side. When I left for vacation she actually cried and while I was gone she asked Auntie Terese to show her my picture because she missed me! Bridget wants to be an accountant when she grows up which makes me laugh because she is ALWAYS finding coins here and there! She finds them on our bus, in parking lots, or wherever we go. On her special day to receive a pop as a reward for good behavior she brought in a pocket full of change that she wanted me to use to buy her pop! So cute! Rather than have her keep money in her host family bag I now have a special little pocket for her in my computer bag I carry everywhere. She currently has 68 cents collected! :)

The other day my phone rang while we were all out having a picnic on the church lawn. I had taken my shoes off to enjoy the warm grass under my feet but left my shoes behind to take the phone inside to chat with a church about an upcoming concert. While I was finishing the conversation the children finished up their picnic lunch and were packing up and loading the bus. The next thing I knew Bridget was under the table where I was sitting chatting on the phone and she was putting my socks and shoes on me! What a funny little sweet girl!

so cute Jenny! i love these little stories of things the kids have done...it's so fun to get to know them a little more personally! Have you found a place to stay in bloomington or a roommate? A friend from your church forwarded your email to me...but I just moved into a one bedroom apt...sorry. I'd love to hang out when you get home though and hear stories!! Praying for you!
