What a lifetime experience. We continue to pray for you and praise Him for your willingness to serve like you are. I know you are well-loved by all those kiddos. Love, Lisa
Hi there Jenny! I have recently found your blog and have read the whole thing from beginning to end- I LOVE it! I saw the Choir (in Hamilton, ON) back in June, and they were amazing. I took my "little sister" in a big brother/big sister program and she loved it too. We got a picture with a few of them and it is framed on her desk :) Anyways, I would love to talk to you about your role as a chaperone. I have 2 years of school left, and after that would LOVE to take a year off and be a chaperone (I will be 21 then). I had planned on taking a year off to travel and volunteer in Africa, but I think this would be just as rewarding, if not even better! It sounds amazing to create such bonds with the kids in the Choir. I am going to Africa for the first time this february (although I have done previous volunteer work with Haitian refugees in the DR)- I am going to Ethiopia and couldn't be more excited. Anyways, if you get a chance, please send me an email at ncochrane3@hotmail.com I would love to ask you a few questions.
Thanks so much! Nikki www.heroholiday07.blogspot.com
